#0041 - Have you peaked yet?
I’ve had a rather long Sunday, and I request you to excuse me as I present you with the above question & a misleadingly short lead to the answer.
While the ambitious ones would never agree that they’ve hit a peak, we’re coming to learn that people do their life’s best work either in their 20’s or well into their 50’s.
This article details the differences between Conceptual Innovators that peak younger compared to Late Bloomers that, well, bloom late. For example, Mark Zuckerberg built Facebook to a $1B business when he was 23, compared to Mark Twain, who apparently published his first novel only when he was 49.
If it were upto you to reason why this happens, what is your best guess? Is exposure the only difference? Also, if I just publish a novel now, would I be added to the creative club?
